Can anyone tell me what that is, laying on the ground, between the two wagons? It looks to me, as if, it is either, a hose or very large rope. What might it be used for? Thanks, Jim Elliott
The wagon on the far rightlooks like the back end of No 88 hippo cage. Note the pneumamtic tires and what seems to be the lower rear end of the hippo's bathing pool. No. 88 got pneumatic tires in 1935.

Wagon #1 was the dining dept. water wagon with the tank in the bottom half of the wagon. #3 was also in the dining dept. and carried the field ranges.
