This might be one of the spec elephants that pushed one of the baby carriages left over from the 1955 “Mama’s in the Park” number.

Could this be “Marcella” that spent her last days in the shade at the elephant ride at Florida’s Circus World? Her stride looks familiar. We “goofs” were given that task of pulling her by the ear to the ride after she brook tail from Mudo because she couldn’t keep up. One day Sammy tailed up George behind our Marcella and she took off like she again was the lead elephant. This picture looks like the stride she had that day. She ran completely past the picket line and was stopped only by the chain link fence that bordered the performer’s trailer park.
