Tent Washing Instructions #1

Scan11575, originally uploaded by bucklesw1.

As promised, this is a procedure Carson & Barnes and other shows can adopt in their spare time.
Starting at the top and washing downward.
You may notice the triangular attachment beneath the star. I was told it was designed to be positioned directly above the back door so that on a rainy day the water would be funneled to either side.
Due to a slight miscalculation in it's location, the water was forced to flow directly into the back door seen in the lower right corner.
"Mama Mia!"

Rainfall deflectors were once commonly seen over doorways and such to guide water away from unshielded portals. You can see them over Pullman car doorways and such.
