I met them on an Atayde date

in "Distrito Federale" back

in the mid sixties and became

quite good friends with Pablo

Martinez (end on the right)

His wife Chatta must be in

the photo but I'm not sure

I later worked for several

seasons with them on the

Beatty show (really nice folks)

To the left is Lalo next Chata, her brother center,Lalo's wife, then Pablo.
there were three teeterboard act's on Circo Atayde in 68. Also worked with them many years on the Castle show. Pablo rigged the show while Corky Plunket ran the floor.A great group of show folks.

Thanks J C

Margarita Vazquez (later known

as Marguerite Michelle) came up

to the beatty show when she was

only 17 and was under the wings

and guidance of Chatta (maybe

her aunt) & Pablo

She later married Miguel Ayala

They have 2 daughters that both

have continued the tradition of

their mother's hair hang act

Marguerite Ayala had three daughters, all of whom did a hair hang act on the 128th edition of Ringling/blue; two of the sisters married members of other acts on the 128th. The oldest, Michelle, married one of the members of the Quiros double high wire act from Spain and is now with Cirque du Soliel’s Kooza. Next in age is Andrea who married Daniel Raffo, the tiger trainer again with the current Ringling blue unit. There is a third sister, Alexis, about ten years younger. They are all fifth generation on their mother’s side, descended from the Mexican Vazquez family.
