Jack Badall wrote a fine history of Gargantua, and at one point was looking for good shots of this wagon. I trust he found them. I saw this wagon in Florida in a state of terrible disrepair. But this photo is representative of wagon building and animal den engineering at it's best. The two men I've seen listed as Gargantua's keepers were Jose Tomas and Richard Koenig (sp?). I presume that is their crummy atop the stairs, and a compartment for tools and provisions behind the door at the left.
