I remember this lot from our days with the Cole Show. Washington & Hill in Los Angeles.
This would have been taken from the top of the Mode O' Day building.

I'm surprised there hasn't been any comment on this great old down-town lot at Washington and Hill. Ir ran back from West Washington to West 21st and between South Hill to South Broadway but was generally just called "Washington and Hill."

Many shows played here including Barnes, Hagenbeck-Wallace, Cole, Cronin, Russell and Beatty up through 1955. RBBB couldn't get on this lot.

The Mode O'Day bldg is still there but the lot has a big big building on it.

Rats!
