Hi Buckles, John, this is indeed Ringling - Barnum. This appears to be a Bob Good photo ???. It could be from 1943,44,45,or 46. Ringling presented "The Changing of the Guard" elephant act for those four years. Dom
Another clue is the stars in the peaks of a white big top- that design was only used during that period. In 1940 thru 1942 the top was blue and I believe it went back to blue in 1946.
Does anyone have any other photos of the 1946 tour? My aunt Ruth Hoffman was an equestrienne and rode elephants. She was in the Changing of the Guard act. She was in The Greatest Show On Earth from April through July, when she had to quit due to be crushed by her elephant against a wall, breaking her ribs. She was hospitalized in Battle Creek, Michigan, and that was the end of her circus adventure. Would appreciate any other photos that might show her. I got her employment record a few years ago from Circus World Museum in Baraboo. Thanks!

Ringling Bros. - Barnum & Bailey. Not sure what year. I'm sure Dom has it pinpointed.

Maybe Richard Reynolds will weigh in on this.
