My guess is Mickey Antalek. Rudi and Sue always had a large act with six or seven chimps.

Thanks

Kavetta who had a daughter with

Bob Dover made it very difficult

for him to see her which was a

contributing factor in Bob's

serious depression

It was sad to see him in the

last few years he was around

His name wasn't really Dover

but I forgot his real name

Last time I saw him he was

wandering around the Capitol

Center during Circus America

chic,, I bought April and Al's property here in Gibtown about 26 years ago. Not sure if they were actually married or not but they were together for many years. I have since sold that particular piece to Irvin Hall.. Three primate folks have been there over the last 50 plus years.

Lee,
That's why the property has held it's value. Let the bear people in and you won't get a dime an acre.

DEFINITELY Mickey Antalek! (Sue should know, she worked right next to him for so many seasons!) Mickey was a gentleman in the truest form of the word. I was a 16 year old candy butcher, he saw me at the supermarket across from the old Cow Palace, told me to cut in front of him in a long line, "...because I know how little time you guys in the seats have between shows." That always stuck with me. ~frank
