SPANGLES closed in New York on August 17th after playing for 55 days. Plans had been made to take the show out on 12 railroad cars and play indoor dates, but such a tour never materialized. Most of the Spangles personnel, including Charles Sparks later moved over to the Ringling show. |

Saw this act at MSG when I was a really little kid. Never forgot it--two people spinning that little airplane way up at the very top of the arena. Never knew the name until it showed up on this blog a year or so ago. Nice to see it again!
