I'd have gone just to see the Banana Man.

I've always wondered, with the number of kids in day care, summer camp and other such programs all summer... couldn't a one ring show like this make it's nut at the Garden just by doing school shows through the week and opening up to the general public Friday through Sunday?

Why is it that the Shriners in NY have never even tried this? Ringling's spring run at the Garden is a distant memory by the time school let's out and Big Apple won't be back until Halloween.

From Le Plus Grand Cabaret du Monde, television show, above.
These endless production acts have been very popular since the days of Vaudeville, as seen with the Banana Man and here with Jorgen Samson.

This man fills the stage with color and wonder in just a few minutes to the delight of the audience.

Who was James Reynolds? Is Andrea Gallagher related to Galla Shawn (aka "Tiny" Gallagher?)

That's Jimmy Reynolds of later sea lion fame and his wife, whom he always referred to as Gallagher!
Nothing to do with Tiny.
