MEL HALL UPSIDE DOWN (From Bill Strong)

MEL HALL UPSIDE DOWN, originally uploaded by bucklesw1.

This is from March 28, 1942 Billboard, it was less than 2"x 3", & not too good quality to begin with. It does show the trick though.

Billy,
Great picture. Thank you. It helps me understand better the cat like movements of James C. Hall.

I've heard of this trick and now seen a photo -- amazing. Wouldn't you love to see this on youtube just to see how he got up there.

If you can find a copy of "Sensations of 1945" on eBay, Amazon.com, etc., there you'll find some footage of Mel Hall mounting and riding the upside down.
Also, some nice footage of Hubert Castle, Pallenberg's Bears, teeterboard and juggling acts (not sure who they are). He's not credited in the movie, but he is credited for this movie on the imdb.com movie web site.
