This image may be from late 1981. The Great Western Stampede (Open Air Wild West Show) which opened in June 1982 had not been installed when this photo was taken. That was Chappie’s dream exhibit. You can see the new elephant barn in the center right of the photo just under the end of the roller coaster. Larry Kellogg
