I wish I had a photo of Jewell New and Kenneth, the Lion that rode on the back of his motorcycle. I guess I took my responsibility too hard because while Jewell and Charly were in the cage with their cats I was watching their backs. Gary |

I wish I had a picture of Dave McMillan being dragged on his belly through the stage left big doors of Circus World when his Tiger blew off of his motorcycles sidecar.

The Flying Tigers were an amazing act to be sure, and thank goodness Dave had the knowledge and strength to hold on to that tiger. (Not that we were unfamiliar about having our stock run amuck.) The interesting thing is what Jewel said to me after seeing Dave’s act, he said that Dave had a gift with his cats BUT Dave was not likely to share gift. Intresting that last I head Dave had a Tiger training school; any gratuities out there who might help me compliment Dave?
I first saw Dave McMillians tiger act in the summer of 73 at the Japanese Village and Deer Park in California. He had some really mean German Shepards in the act with the young tigers. Next time I saw him was when Jewell and I used the dayoff from the Blue in NYC to run down to Great Adventure so I could see my old elephants there. He wasn't Mr Personiality then either? Capt , Thanks for the photo of Jewell. I do have this in one of the old programs I have somewhere?
