Some of the Beatty props came with the last of his act to Jungleland. I used the floor seat seen center here, along with one other, in the lion act I learned on at Jungleland. As has been seen in many photos, Beatty left the Cole show with the cat act and three elephants in compensation for back wages when that show closed in '38. He went to Robbins for the balance of that season, then on to Hamid's Steel Pier for '39, up to the opening of his Jungle Zoo that December, in Ft. Lauderdale. Many of the props continued with him until the end, and a few remained with us at the Compound until the closing auction day, October 9, 1969.
Anyone know where to get a cd of this film? I have watched Ebay and Amazon without success. Dion
