These next drawings are an example. I have explained this trick several times over the years but being relentless by nature I will do so again. The elephant would mount the teeter-board, walk forward and stop as soon as she had passed the fulcrum, forcing the opposite end down. Miss Nelson would then step on the board facing the elephant who on command would take one big step backward vaulting the lady as shown in the drawing.
