Clydia Floyd #1 (From Bill Strong)

Thes are the photos of Clydia Floyd, wife of drummer Ray "Red" Floyd. One of the pics uses the nickname "Babe", also one is stamped on the back [enlarged 1935]. I'm trying to find out what riding act she worked with.

Red was Merle Evans drummer on the Ringling Show for many years.
When Mr. Evans left the show following the 1955 season and went to work for Orrin Davenport, he brought Red with him.
I remember him well from the Davenport dates but had no idea his wife was an equestrian.
