This lot is on the levee at the Mississippi River. The Royal American Shows carnival used the same lot. The midway was one long line for about three blocks. If I remember correctly, the Circus had a little parade along the parallel streets as the lot was downtown.Bill Galloway,Rochester,NY
This wasn't the only indelible mistake John North made. Among the most telling of his errors was losing interest in the show. Next,he sold out to the Felds.
The band paraded that day. One of only three times that season due to extra union pay scale for parades.
The show and steam calliope paraded daily.
