Charitable actions by circuses go back to the days of Ricketts. They've raised money for winter fuel, fire victims, AIDS and everything in between, not to mention hospital and prison visits. Denny's restaurants gave everyone free breakfast yesterday, across the nation. It made national news, everywhere. How about a free "circus day" nationally? Talk about a bonanza of positive and good publicity that won't cost beyond the direct incurred expense. Who's really the modern Barnum?

A much more charitable offering might be to charge for the admission and make the concessions free.

A big thumbs up for two great ideas! Is anybody "in charge" listening??
