Gollmar Bros. Circus 1908-09 #2

Scan11379, originally uploaded by bucklesw1. Another shot of the same herd. My dad wrote on the back: "Gollmar Winter Quarters in Baraboo Wis." All I can make out of the writing below is is 1908. This looks like the wrong time of year unless they were playing Baraboo later in the season. I see some paper in the background. The eight Ringling elephants would have been wintered at at the Water St. Quarters.
