Otto Scheiman turned up this set of June 29, 1912 Ringling photos taken in his hometown of South Bend, Indiana. This zebra cart was one of three vehicles that were rolled out when circus fans descended upon Baraboo in 1933 for the golden anniversary. One of them, the Spain/Witches float, re-appeared in the 1990s. One wonders about this one and the "shoe" type float from 1910-1911 Forepaugh-Sells. They have not yet been re-discovered.
Otto was the guy that copied the old photos discovered along the route by WHW, Sr., and then distributed them to the cognoscenti.
