Ringling Bros. Worlds Greatest Shows #11

Picture includes what appears to be an 80' side show with 2 middle pieces. A 140' menagerie with 5 middle pieces and a big top around 190' with 5 middle pieces as well.

No small irony that the these days the biggest bigtop in the world wouldn't hold the animals, and the sideshow top would have had plenty of room some modern circuses.

Those rocks in the ground may suggest that the show was playing the "Ontario dome." No, this wasn't an indoor venue, but a geological formation. Google it or call Al Stencell.

I think that Bob Good may have sold a photo of the Ringling Great Britain tableau traversing the Ontraio dome, with similar rocks to be seen.

Credit the Sage of Seattle with such wonderful knowledge.
