Dave Hoover on clyde Beatty-Cole Bros. A great performer and a great friend to us fans and he always had time to to visit and make you feel at home on Beatty Cole. Last of a era of the large fighting cat act. Harry
One of the best photos ever of Dave, reminiscent of the action shots of his friend and idol, Clyde Beatty. The quality looks like the work of Jimmy Cole. We note here how Dave held to his favorite circus traditions--since shows numbered their wagons and railcars, Dave numbered his cages. He also had them scrolled and trimmed in different colors, and his equipment lent an added flash to the appeal of the show.

Will always miss you Dave and those cigar swaps. I echo Harry's comments as would anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Dave.

Rog-
Ned didn't want a cage with the number "13" on it so the numbers went 11, 12, 14, 15 & 16
