Jorge Barrada on Clyde Bros Circus. I saw this act when the circus played a Shrine many years ago in Beaumont, Texas. Rex Williams had the elephants and Lucky Larabee was ringmaster. Howard Suez always put on a real good show back then. Harry
I've seen the father's name spelled as Osa. This gentleman gave me a twisted whipstock when both units of Suesz's Clyde Bros. were laying off in Edmond, OK. What a great family, the Barradas.
The eagle-eyed among us will remember this is the Roman Proske arena. I handled it for Jorge on Uncle George Hubler's show, in '75. Boy hidy, for a cage only 8' tall, the sections were heavy, and unwieldy, and the connecting locks were among the most knuckle-busting sons-of-bitches of any circus equipment I've put my hands on this side of the Clyde Beatty tunnel.

I saw this act on Clyde Bros. in 1967. I remember it being very good.

larryallendean is right, it is Jose, he had a great personality outside the ring too, one of the people I was proud to be aquainted with.
