That's Pete and Helen, on the bottom, and Ora Jo Logan, on Sue at the top of the pryamid. And, of course, Capt. Fred C. Logan, in command.
I would say, from the looks of this pix, that Col. Bill Woodcock, taught Freddie WELL.

I have been corrected, by Eileen Logan Osorio, The elephant on the left is Pete. The other two, I miss identified. They are not Helen and Sue. Eileen is thinking it over and hopefully she will recall their names. If so she will let me know.
She believes these photos were taken in 1971. Most likely one of the other two elephants is either Bea or Gyp.
Sorry for the mistake. I'll leave the elephant identify to someone else, as my expertise is in carnival rides.

Yes Rex trained the pyramid!
Was the first one to train it!

Rex told me that when he had the Howard Suesz elephants on the Tom Packs Show he was at a party where they were showing European circus films.
One was from Circus Krone that included this pyramid, someone said, "I'd like to see you do this trick!"
Always open to a challenge, he had it trained in a few days.
How far this feat dates back in Europe I couldn't say.
