The Great American Water Shows, W.P. Newman owner with Quartes at Cronton, Ohio.
Seen here laying at Leavenworth, Indiana with the Steamer "The Morning Star" below.
Due to a Small Pox scare, did not show there that day and moved on to Alton, Illinois.

The date is May 26,1903, the city was Leavenworth, Indiana. A local small pox scare caused the show to blow the date and move on to Alton, Indiana. The quarters was at Ironton, Ohio. Towing the barge was the packet boat Cricket.

Why wouldn't this set up still work for a show interested in playing up and down the Mississippi?

You would think that the sheer novelty value alone would have them turning out in droves.

Many of these and Erik Jaeger would be out of a job.

Pat,
Or the Hudson River then along the Mohawk River. You could do a meller-drama and call it "Sons 'O Guns Along the Mohawk".

Pat - the honorable Mr. Flint got a chuckle out of my posting of COLE BROS. GRAND ENTRY, especially the last paragraph. Would you be so kind and tell Mr. Flint what happened to that beat-up box of Coloring Books that you dragged half-way around the world?

With much appreciation,
Mike

Floating up and down the rivers you could also have a Casino setup for added attraction?
