Anonymous said...: If I am not mistaken these are Dickie Chipperfields lions. I believe he was on the show for just one year in 1971 with a bounce lion act and leopards. Can anyone confirm?

Anonymous said...: Dicky was on the show in 1971 only, with his lions and leopards. I had the pleasure to see him work that year. I believe Werner Steibner(?), would present the leopard act on occasion. Last I knew, Dicky was on Pinder in France.

Anonymous said...: Thanks for the confirmation. Werner worked with Dickie for many years and is now living in retirment in Germany with his wife Cristine. Dickie, is indeed, with Pinder. He is training a new tiger act with Frederic.
