The truck in the background is from the Suarez Family Riding act from Mexico. I seem to recall that act joining Beatty - Cole late in the 1969 season, after Rudy Bros. finished their tour. They reamined on Beatty - Cole for 4 more full seasons.
They had some of the most beautiful costumes that I had ever
seen. I assumed that Mama Suarez did the sewing. The always presented a very excellant act and were always awarded lots of applause.
They also had their own musical arrangements from what I could tell. They were definately Latin and fit the act very well.
Casey, Wade, Notice the "High Waters" on Ole Whitey.. Now, perhaps you both will understand the "Look' I was shootin for in my career! Lets face it..Snake Skins and ridin Boots just don't make the statement that Not too Short, Not too Long does!....
Zych(affectionately known as GQ),
I stand corrected. Combined with the Hooterville Feed Store ball cap, the Ed Gein flannel jacket, ensembled with a Piggly Wiggly tote bag for itinerary and passport, it brilliantly illustrates the "knock off" attempts of a Versace or Ralph Lauren.
