Comments on the side? Same problem for some days for me bu they're from 32 months ago! From April 2006. Wish it were true that the Dutchess was back after so long a hiatus... has anyone checked up on her lately?

Just received from The Dutchess, a note and a Christmas card. Also a set of photos of her current dog grooming and boarding operation, with nice buildings, flowers, and a place obviously kept squared away. She gives me little snippets of humor, so I trust she is getting along OK. She lives in Granite City, Illinois, where the big steel mill just closed, evidently for good. I hope she can continue to get clients and stay busy. She is very close to the fire and police chiefs, the mayor, and those who run the Catholic Charities, all of whose dogs are customers, and our Rebecca is well looked after, she tells me.
