"Babe" 1947

Carolina winter of 1946-47 "Christy", "Carrie", "Babe", "Shirley" and "Mike" (a female that died shortly after delivery). A replacement was ordered, also named "Mike", but she died as well so they had to go with four, a clumsy number to routine. By the time this article had been released, Mac had already moved on to the Tom Packs show in 1949.
