I created the Circus4Youth website for the CFA in 2005. I felt that there was a need to better connect the youth circus students / performers with the "real " circus world out there.
Having little knowledge of youth circus operations, I gathered up a committee of youth circus directors and trainers who were also CFA members.
But there was still something missing, all of the C4Y members were adults, many of them in their retirement years. If this was going to be a website for youth, then we needed a youthful mind who loved circus. After consulting with many youth circuses, Circus Juventas recomended this young lady, Maria Balogh who is one of their advanced aerialists. She has come up with many of the creative ideas which have helped to make Circus4Youth the success that it now is.
