Just about to get monkey bit!

My dad wrote on the back:
John Cartwright CFA, Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Odd that he would identify the man and not the show or date.

When a showman would offer a circus or whatever for sale in Billboard, Cartwright would write them about it. Some of his correspondence survives today and provides insight on these sales.

I would guess that this is a carnival. The name on the wagon was Shows, and not Circus I don`t know of many circuses that ended in shows in the 40`s or 50`s except RBBB. The wagon has low sides which also suggest that it`s a carnival.
