For those who don't know, these are bibles--so named since they fold up, as seen at Right. Those unfolded, at Left,are ready for the seats. When Mr. Beatty left the show for his cancer surgery, in '64, I rode shotgun in 96 Bible Wagon, the heaviest truck on the lot. Never did we get past a scales without an overweight ticket. Truck Boss Bill Gheens had 96 governed down to 45 mph. The wagon was driven by the First Trumpet player, Thomas Xavier Napoli.
