The heading can be changed to Kenneth and Nicole FELDWAY. And we know that you do it FELDWAY or you are on the HIGHWAY.
These motordomes were always a crowd pleaser on the midway. There are many motorbike shows on cable and you would think that someone would revive this.
I am looking for tickets for the Red Unit in Tampa on Saturday, January the 10th. It lists show times at 3:30; 7:30 and 11;30 PM. Is that correct that they would have a show at 11:30 at night? Would they have misprinted a 11:30 AM show? Very confusing, now they cancel shows and then have shows at Midnight. This schedule is on the Ringling web site, did anyone else see this? Maybe the proofreader is now rotating tires.
Seems I can remember hearing that in the 1950's, JRN had hired a European motorcyclist who drove his bike around a wall of expanded metal that resembled a steel arena. As he gained full speed the arena would raised up by means of a cable presenting a motor drome with no bottom. The story went that at the climax of the act, he would remove his motorcycle jacket and cast it aside. Unfortunately one night just prior to coming to the US, after being thrown, the jacket became entangled in the spokes of the rear wheel and he fell to his death.
Regarding the Ken & Nicole show times mentioned above by anonymous, the 11:30 show might be the Midnight Rumble, where you smell the smoke and see the flame. Maybe even a Broad Mob or two.

Please dont show this to Ringling since they now have a thing for all things motorized and the abundant help to drive it.
