Antar was brought in to teach pyramid building and Arabian tumbling for the 1972 Clown College Class. He was a delightful man who truly loved working with us.
When one person complained about how heavy another clown was during a shoulder stand Antar used me to demonstrate how proper leverage would allow me to hold 5 people off the ground. As Antar added people I was told to pull harder on the legs of the clown on my shoulders. I had to be holding up around 700 pounds (or 3 Buckles!) What a confidence booster. When everybody dismounted it felt like I was floating up to the top of the Venice Arena...

SAD NEWS FROM LAS VEGAS TODAY. We have lost Antar Wazzan after a long fight with cancer. Services are pending at this time.
