Buckles, recently i was looking through the 1957 Kelly- Miller program and there is a advertisement/drawing of the Red Goose shoes six-shetland pony hitch. Are ther any real photos of this that you know of?
Joey

"The driver's name is Pinky Barnes.
The hitch was reduced to four when it was used in spec,"

Thank you for the quick response Capt.. As a child of the 1970's, I remember my Red Goose shoes quite fondly.

Each morning at 10:00 this unit would appear at the Red Goose outlet, likewise for the Frigidare polar bear den pulled by a six-up and the elephant herd would parade thru town to site of the local Chevrolet dealer.
All well publicized in advance by the show's National banner man, Dick Scatterday.
Created quite a stir.

Yes, the Chevrolet and all the Frigidare ads in the program. It's too bad that companies today aren't willing to lend thier names to shows for promotion. Different times though.
This program also has a delightful "Elephant Encyclopedia" by Col. Woodcock and Capt. Logan.

Buckles,
I seem to remember a different Red Goose pony float in the early
50's. Am I right or am I just imagining it?
