Joe Winters Circus #1

Scan10564, originally uploaded by bucklesw1.

I received these pictures several years ago when I was still sending out pictures one or two at a time and forgot all about them.
Can't remember where they came from, my apologies to the sender.
Sort of a poor man's Monty Python.
I'll bet Eric Beheim knows what it is.

Looks like still photos taken on some movie set by some person in attendance.

I think that these are stills from the Crazy Gang's final film, "Life is a Circus" (1960).

Pat is correct, these still are from "Life's a Circus" starring the Crazy Gang. These came from a little fine-arts theater I used to work in back when I was in college. To make more room, the owner had us throw away boxes and boxes of old publicity material: movie stills, posters, pressbooks, etc. (This was well before movie memorabilia became collectible.) I did save some of it,which is how these stills happen to survive. I don't think the film itself is available on video. (The female lead was later in one of the James Bond films-- I think she was the one who was painted gold in GOLDFINGER.
