Harley Sadler went into the circus business in 1935-1936. He was said to have made a million from the tent show business, but that likely wasn't from his horse opera. Further information and references are at: http://tshaonline.org/handbook/online/articles/SS/fsa44.html
Didn't he start out as a partner in a motorcycle company?
Vaudeville, etc etc wonderful just wonderful.
Anybody know if there are any dvd's
available of original vaudeville and/or burlesque acts/shows?

It's almost time for someone to recreate the candy pitch, with the lady finding a pair of nylons, oops, there is a coupon for a radio and all of the other types of prizes that you have to buy the candy to get.
Today there is the peanut pitch and Brian L. is probably the best I ever saw in action. He cleaned out the peanuts almost every time.
