How nice this morning to see old friend Stanley Gill on right in the photo. American circus fans and friends will recognize him for the years he was flyer and mgr. of the Flying Waynes along with beautiful ex-wife Mary. He always told me of his roots in Aussie circus and Wild West shows and just recently how he was looking forward to this trip. He always liked his western dress, boots, hat, etc. Wonderful how the blog can bring us all back together fro around the world. Henry will be pleased as well as he was part of our gang of friends on Ringling in those days. Mary hs b4een retired to Australia for many years since her unfortunate accident on Ringling. Way to go Stanley.

was great to see stanley again we were both nearly wiped out by a camel in western Australia in 1952
we were lucky there was a big tree on the property that saved us
