Peggy and Mac's masterpiece, the finest elephant act ever trained in this country, the Besalou Elephants, a derivative of the names Bessie Polack and Louis Stern.

Buckles,
I never had the honor of seeing this act, but that is the general consensus of most knowledgeable elephant men.
The finest act I ever had the pleasure of working was the 3 baby act of Tina, Roni, and Siam that Mac and Peggy trained. They did absolutely everything, and most of it as three's. Barrel, ball, hand stands on revolving pedestals, swithch leads, come in three's finishing with an oblique saluting standing on the front of the ring curb. Best of the best.

I remember some of the finish to the act. After "Opal's" one-foot stand, the band played Barnum& Bailey's Favorite march, the elephants did a long mount, and Ross Paul would announce, "without fear of contradiction, the greatest elephant act presented in the circus world today." He was right.
