Water Street #10

TJ Howell lives on the Baraboo River, just down from CW(M). This is what it looks like there, as of 5:45PM CST, 6/10/08. Bottom picture shows Randy Peterson manning the boat that is moving sandbags from the outer perimeter of sandbags, to the close to the house sandbags. The river is expected to crest sometime on Thursday @ 25 1/2'. Shown here it was about 21 1/2'. Sandbagging has gone on since 7 AM Monday, and will continue as long as necessary. Spirits are running HIGH, and everybody is pitching in! People are coming out of the "woodwork" to help TJ & Gale. Some people (unknown) just stop and help for awhile, then disappear just like they appeared! The Bartlet show re-opens Thursday afternoon for the 4:30 PM show. An "expanded stage show" version, the TV news reports! Pete, the Baraboobian!

Don't know how they figure water levels, etc, but I don't think that the water is going to rise that high! At least lets pray not!

Will try to get updated pictures later on.
