Mr. Bel Geddes is the father of Barbara Bel Gedde, a fine actress who played the mother in the television show, DALLAS. Ms. Bel Geddes made her breakthrough motion picture debut as the young daughter in I REMEMBER MAMA.

In high school, I played Papa in I REMEMBER MAMA. While I'm at it, I also, ahem, played the James Dean role of Jim Stark in REBEL WITHOUT A CAUSE, and literal decades later worked on Stages 3, 5, and 6, at Warner Bros., where the interiors for that film were shot. More? All right. Also at Warners, as an extra on THE WEST WING, I sat in "extras holding" for eight hours on Stage 25, where they shot interiors for Rick's Cafe Americain for CASABLANCA. All as an extra, you understand. Not a line to be spoken, and not a SAG voucher in sight. How about them apples?
