A November 1947 Billboard says King Bros. wintered in Jackson, Mississippi, the winter prior. They supposedly lost an elephant ( valued at $3900 ) due to the weather. Who would this elephant have been ?; 07 February, 2015 21:35

Charles Hanson said...: Floyd King's last wife was Vickie Kernan from Louisville, Ky. She had been on Cole Bros. Circus prior to meeting Floyd. Vickie told me that she would visit King Bros Circus with her friend Betty Biller....and that is how she met Floyd King. Forty years difference in their ages and yet Floyd outlived her.; 08 February, 2015 12:42
