MARION CRISTIANI: Mother of Carin and Vickie Cristiani..Would be my guess..SPANGLES, Vickies current book on the Cristiani Circus tells us just what an involved family the Cristianis were. A book about real elephants,performers, staffers and working men. The best way to purchase the book is AMAZON.com. VICKIE Cristiani Rossi, 2008 CFA BANQUET Speaker reviews have been excellent. To the best of my knowledge Vickie was the first solo female CFA BANQUET Convention Speaker. And without a doubt did a FANTASTIC JOB. She no came prepared to speak. I think future CFA Conventions could learn something from Vickies presentation. Thank You Vickie...Her entire family was present along with Pete, Norma,(Norma was one of five luncheon speakers) Carin, Pete and Norma's granddaughter for this great evening. CFA Banquet a number of us won't forget.....Vickie did SPANGLES book signings the entire week in the BULL ROOM. Her next book signing takes place at Barnes & Noble next month in Orlando.

SIDEBAR: Once again the CFA Members stepped up and donated $1200.00 to OABA in name of the 2008 CFA Sarasota Convention. Bob Johnson, OABA President made an appearance at the first General Business Meeting.

SPANGLES - The book by Vickie Cristiani Rossi has done well in all circus circles since its release last fall. The book is a print on demand by IUniverse and at first a number of buyers found it difficult to purchase. Spangles Marketing has reached a hurdle that has been difficult to jump over. We had hoped to have it available in the following Circus Gift Shops - Circus World Baraboo, Barnum Museum, Bridgeport and Peru,IN. Ringling Museum Gift shop is another story. Maybe if readers of this BLOG would contact these gift shops it might help. Refer them to the SPANGLES web site. To date we haven't been able to hit on any national book reviews..IE..USA Today, New York Times, Chicago Tribune. Any suggestions are welcome..Thank you all for the purchase of SPANGLES..
