The latest news here in New York is that MSG management has pulled out of the deal to move and has decided to renovate. There's a feeling, though, that it's a negotiating ploy since the original deal involved cooperating with public agencies like the transit authority.
Yes, the ploy involves money, as always.
The Dolan Family's business interests include MSG, Cablevision, Radio City Music Hall and the Rockettes, plus the three teams that are stabled in MSG: the Knicks, the Rangers and the Liberty.
They are missing revenue from the lack of luxury suites in the Brady Bunch era MSG.
The Dolan's goal is to own everything in NYC including the perfumed air that breezes across the Hudson from the Garden State of Jersey.
I wonder if the Dolans invite the Felds to their BYOB bar b ques.
Reporting from One Pennsylvania Plaza...for the record I haven't been to Sarasota or Venice in a long time.
