Capt, was Felix still involved in Circus when he was with the "Three Stooges"? Or had he retired from the show?

When I was a kid at the movies,I always noticed "Felix Adler" in the Three Stooges credits and wondered about that.
Now as an adult watching Three Stooges on TV, I am of the opinion that it was a different person.

It was a different peron. I found out, but can't remember where.

According the Internet Movie Database web site, the screenwriter Felix Adler who wrote many of the Three Stooges comedies was born in 1884 and died in 1963, whereas Felix Adler the clown was born in 1895 and died in 1960. I also thought they were one and the same for a long time...I mean how many Felix Adlers can there be in the world?!

Felix Adler was a screenwriter associated with the Three Stooges. In the 2000 TV movie "The Three Stooges", he was portrayed by actor Gary Baxter. The circus Felix Adler died in 1960. The movie writer Felix Adler died at 79, on 25 March 1963, of cancer, at the Motion Picture Hospital, in Woodland Hills, California. The two men merely shared a coincidence of names.
