Dick is a notorious lothario. He gets around a bunch of showgirls, and he walks around making "rasberrys" with his tongue like a fired up billy goat. Secrets out Dick. I've protected your moonlighting as long as I could. LOL
Your friend,

This is one of my adult students in the circus history class I've been teaching at Johns Hopkins University. We made a field trip to the Ringling show and this photo was taken by a Baltimore Sun newspaper photographer to accompany a story about the course. We also had brunch with a number of people on the show that I invited so special thanks to Bello Nock, Ginny Frisco, Nickolas Wallenda, Karin Houck, Chris Palm, and Tina Miser. The class, some of whom have fairly sophisticated circus-going experience to my surprise, gave high marks to the performance. They have all asked to be kept informed of other shows coming to this area and come June, I hope to see some of them again at Universoul and Kelly-Miller, both of which regularly visit here.

Dick wears his glasses down on his nose thinking it makes him looks more scholarly and academic, but in fact it just calls attention to the gleam in his eye.
To Richard Flint, your student appears to be in wardrobe. What did she and/or other students do?

Bill, this photo was taken during come-in, part of the usual public experience. Special for my class was the brunch and a chance to converse with several guests from the show. This was nearly two hours. We then had a backstage tour (the class previously had had a lecture with photos I'd taken while on Ringling last summer to familiarize themselves with what they were seeing) led by boss clown Leo Acton. When that concluded, we joined the public for the come-in activities and the show.

To Dick Flint, Thank you for the information. Bill Galloway,Rochester,NY
Paul,
I was going to ask him what he was looking at also. LOL
Best to you and Diane,
