This picture reminds me of one of the elephant cars we used on the show. It had a passenger door in the end that previously Axel had backed his elephants up to. I had a young male named "Hugo" that I headed into the end of the car to lessen chances of a newcomer passing by him by mistake. After loading out one night, I was awakened early the next morning and told that "Hugo" had opened the door and had reached down and uncoupled the yard engine. By the time I arrived there were quite a few railroad people on the scene all enjoying themselves. Every time they coupled the car he would reach down and with a flip of the end of his trunk uncouple it. I found it rather unsettling to realize just how simple it was to unhook a railroad car. I shuffled a few elephants around and away we went. The door was later sealed of.
