I sent some program sheets to Bill Strong for the Rochester Shrine dates that M&M Circus Internationale produced. Some of the acts usually went to Columbus. Maybe he could help identify some of the acts.Bill Galloway,Rochester,NY
Bill,
I would like to talk with you about the Polack shows,...I am researching The Sherman Brothers- IE: Chester Sherman and Joe Vani Sherman,...In need of photos, programs, stories, and folks who have seen their acts,...Please help where you can.
Thank you,
Tom

What happened to Yesterdays Blog? Did Bill Strong retire? Perhaps Trudy an take over.
I miss all the Circus news.
That is a large herd of elephants. Does any one know whose elephants they were???
To Anonymous - Bill Strong's blog was active today, April 4. Don't know what your problem is.
Hey guys, not retired,,,, just tired!!!! Been under the weather with another bronchial infection so I've been sort of out of the mood, plus a little "dry eye" problem that limits my time on the "Infernal Machine", hope to get back on track next week. Thanks for the concern!!!!
J. Goodall....I was only 7 yrs old at the time...But I'll take a wild guess...Hmmmm. Jerry Collins & Frank Mcloskey owned the Bulls....Buckles...Did I guess Right......Jim Zajicek (Circus Fan)
Right you are!
J. Goodall What tipped me off...was'nt the Head-pieces...Although I believed if they were red I would have Known
instantly...and because I couldnt identify any of the Elephants..I had to look deeper....What I finaly noticed...were the legs in black pants under the lead Elephants head....Most people always saw Rex ride a Horse...But I having seen him on numerous occasions walk on the Ground..Realised it was Rex...Glancing at the year on the photo...and knowing a little history....(Rex had the herd on CBCB in '68) deducted it down to my Final answer...which Buckles confirmed correct....If I Can assist in helping out in Identifying Photo's, I am at your service..However, I currently have about 22% success rate (Lifetime)... Sincerely Jim Zajicek (Model Builder/Circus Fan)
Jim Z,
I assumed Rex, because the headpieces are identical to the ones Clyde Bros. Mary, Sue, and Ruth had when he had that herd. I looked at different legs then you did, and when I saw the beauty standing on the leader I knew who had the herd. LOL
