Cole Bros. Circus 1940's #3

This was a dangerous way to make a living, heavy wagons falling between the runs or rolling free.
I remember more than once, an ambulance at the crossing as my mother and I would pass by at night on our way to the coaches.

This Mt. Vernon is sway-backed from use and age and the car behind it has already had the lower flange reinforced to keep it in service.
