Another manta ray, with the setting looking like a lumber yard in the Pacific Northwest. Richard will know if that area ir manta ray territory or not. This example may not be tremendously exceptional, but is sure impressive looking. There are many reports or giant beasts back in the 19th century, and a few survived to be photographed. The dimensions of some rattlesnakes and other such critters encountered by unsuspecting farmers are almost too incredible to be true. Adrenalin might be a factor in size estimation and recollection. Reconciling these first hand reports with actual records would be as interesting as learning the truth behind all of the Bigfoot type sightings.
